High 5 Games Regains Connecticut B2B License

High 5 Games announced the reinstatement of its gaming license in Connecticut following a regulatory review by the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection (DCP). The company cooperated fully throughout the process and remains firmly committed to compliance, player safety, and regulatory transparency in every market it serves.

With 30 years of industry leadership and a global audience of millions of slot players, High 5 Games has consistently maintained that its sweepstakes based model is lawful under both state and federal guidelines. At no point during this process was the company found to have violated any laws.

“We respect the Department of Consumer Protection and the important work they do to uphold the integrity of Connecticut’s gaming market,” said Tony Singer, CEO of High 5 Games. “While we may not agree with every interpretation, we have always cooperated fully and acted in good faith. We operate with integrity, within the law, and with deep respect for the licenses we hold.”

Importantly, in January 2025, prior to this regulatory review, High 5 Games had already begun the process of voluntarily exiting all regulated iGaming states, including Connecticut, to reinforce its long term commitment to a compliant, nationwide sweepstakes model. The company had completed its exit from the Connecticut sweepstakes market before this matter was initiated and has no plans to resume operations in the state.

High 5 Games continues to hold its license to provide slot content to regulated platforms in Connecticut and maintains active operations in numerous U.S. and international jurisdictions. To further ensure full alignment with state regulatory expectations, the company has partnered with Xpoint to implement industry leading geo-blocking solutions that aggressively restrict access from prohibited jurisdictions. It has also deployed advanced Know Your Customer (KYC) technologies to strengthen user verification, prevent fraud, and support responsible gaming initiatives.

High 5 Games’ close partnerships with regulated real money gaming (RMG) operators inform its proactive approach. As a longtime content provider to licensed RMG platforms, the company brings a unique understanding of evolving compliance standards and acts swiftly to adapt.

“Compared to others in the space, we’ve taken a far more aggressive and proactive approach to geo-blocking and user verification,” added Singer. “Our investment in Xpoint and enhanced KYC ensures that only eligible users can access our platforms and that regulators and players alike can trust our commitment to safe and legal play. Our position in both the sweepstakes and real money gaming worlds gives us a heightened responsibility and a unique ability to act quickly, responsibly, and in full alignment with the spirit of regulation.”

High 5 Games remains fully compliant in all active jurisdictions and continues to lead with transparency, player protection, and regulatory cooperation as cornerstones of its business.
